April 24, 2018 - Opened one hour in advance. Faint floral cherry aroma. Flavors of red fruit, boysenberry. Some menthol in the finish. Refined, mature, well balanced, good backbone. Correct, but not vibrant. Excellent QPR.

September 21, 2013 - Lovely ruby robe; pure red fruit, hint of graphite. Great concentration of flavor on the palate. I'm glad I saved this bottle: my impression is that this wine is at a height of readiness (intending no implication that it won't remain so, or for how long--I'm not sure how to tell).
