Community Tasting Notes 10

December 28, 2010 - Still good to drink. Tannins are smooth and good flavour.

December 25, 2010 - Very inviting nose of blackcurrants, cranberries and purple plums, but it falls short in the mouth - thin purple fruit flavors, some oak, modest tannins, and a short finish. Underwhelming.

November 20, 2010 - Served this at a party we hosted, so no tasting notes were recorded. Whereas no one raved the virtues of this wine, no complained, got sick, or died either.

October 15, 2009 - Good everyday drinking Cabernet. Straightforward on the fruit and light on the tannins.

August 5, 2009 - Not bad. This is my 2nd bottle, 2nd night it's open. The air has toned it down some, and in a good way. A ton of oak on the first night, much more balanced out now. It's a nice juicy simple cab. Don't know about QPR, guess it depends what it's selling for. It holds it's own against $10 bottles IMO, but I could see wanting more if you were paying $15+ for it.
