April 14, 2017 - Bon vin présentant de beaux arômes de fruits mûrs et d'épices. Belle finesse de corps et agréable rondeur en bouche

May 31, 2015 - Decanted 1 hour. Soft nose of old blackberry brambles, saddle leather, and bruised black cherry. Black plum, resolved tannins and a pleasant roundness in the mouth. On the fade so drink up. Good match with braised lamb shanks with mint and lemon zest gremolata

April 2, 2014 - Purple/brick red rim. ripe dark fruit/burnt meat. Hot vintage character, soft, sweet fruit. A little blousy, mature for age. Not for the long haul. Drink up for best experience.

June 16, 2013 - Dark purple color, getting slightly lighter to the rim. Very complex nose of meat, rocks, graphite, raspberries, pepper and dark berries too. Hits the palate with a full body, medium-low acidity and medium tannins. On the palate, there are masses of dark fruit and rasperries, minerality and some smoke. Long finish. Really beautiful St-Joseph from a freaky vintage. Totally mature now and really great to drink.

January 5, 2013 - Packed with luscious black cherried fruit wrapped with smoky and meaty tones, slight floral lift in the nose. This carried through into the mouth. I almost felt I was drinking one of the Cornas from this producer, the quality of fruit that good. Tannins totally integrated, but not much acidity makes me feel that there is not much more pleasure to be had from this wine. A product of it's vintage
