February 28, 2014 - Still a great wine. Had to breath for an hour to open up. Light fruit, dry finish, no tannins.

September 2, 2013 - Garnet, nose of black cherry with flavors of pencil lead and plum. Medium finish. Nice structure. Lovely wine and QPR, sad this is the last bottle of a case. Paired well with beef stroganoff. Wine is good for sipping before the meal.

July 3, 2013 - A thinly aromatic offering, yet deeply structured with traces of plum and anise.

June 20, 2013 - Well worth the Alexander Hamilton ($10 spot)!

Dark garnet in color. Nice aroma of stewed berry/cherry, some oak, some floral. On the palate the tannins are fine, cherry-vanilla, pepper, medium body, fairly well balanced, average finish, average acid, touch oaky and slightly green peppercorn on the finish.
