November 24, 2015 - Marked up for the superb crystal clear transparency of the fruit , minerals and the terroir. This wine was a seminal moment in my wine tasting education. It was an honour tasting it.

July 16, 2015 - mature impression but still a core of cristal clear, concentrated fruit; hints of olives and herbal notes, quite despite the vintage and very Gauby, quite sauvage. Freshness is good, especially after some time in the glass. Tannins are quite present, and while there is certainly no hurry here, the wine seems to be near mature.

June 12, 2013 - Roasted fruit nose with a lot of vanilla wood. Entry is light, mid mouth and finish a bit wooden although a bit of spice and tannins still left, it just feels flat and short.

March 23, 2011 - Sweet, oaked Grenache nose. Chocolate spice. Mouth is complex with good level of acidity. Finish long and particularly spicy. Tannins fairly rough. One of the better done Southwest wines. Typical of the type with good overall balance and finish. Good with a rough meal of casoulet as the acidity and long finish cut through the fat.

March 24, 2010 - Bright medium ruby, pale ruby rim. Mainly dark berry fruit, slight rich mineral and coffee edge, somce spice. Attractive and quite complex if lacking a little intensity. On the palate this is medium bodied, with bright dark berry fruit, quite fresh and invigorating. Not as complex as on the nose but some soil notes on the slightly abrupt, medium length slightly chewy finish. Nice enough but not awe inspiring and needs drinking up.
