March 1, 2020 - PnP after dinner. No detailed notes. Smooth, rich, with nice spice. After looking at previous notes, it appears that it took some time to get into a really nice place.

May 19, 2016 - This is a good wine that is probably at peak or starting down. Purple fruits with plenty of cracked black pepper. Not baked or overdone, the nose is somewhat shy but reveals hints of sous bois and just crushed purple berry.

March 1, 2015 - A little hot on the nose, like many '08s, but also massive dark berry fruits and cooking spices. Big strong mouthfeel and significant fruit, still moderately firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a bit of astringency on the finish, which is lengthy.
