April 7, 2017 - This wine never disappoints.
Dark, full bodied, brooding ox-blood.
Dusty, meaty, barnyard funk, some dark fruit
Dry, smooth tannins, lots of minerality, pencil led, long finish.
Some red licorice hints. Tastes like the nose.
I drank this over two nights, and it was much better the second night. Fully expressive, sophisticated, and Very enjoyable. It's at its prime for sure, but allow a number of hours to decant. Well worth the wait.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 11, 2016 - It's been a couple years since i opened my last bottle. Drank over two hours.
Dark, deep purple, congealed blood
Powerful dark fruit nose. Cinder block. Strong floral notes. Lilac
Lots of dark fruit, cigar box, pencil lead. Medium plus finish.

November 28, 2014 - drinking beautifully! Leather, tobacco, eucalyptus. Very good fruit/acid/tannin balance. Medium-long finish. Good value.
