October 5, 2022 - Fruit receded. Well past it’s prime

July 29, 2022 - Overall, too old. Fruit flavors fully faded on palate. Still liked it!

Nose: limited fruit - rhubarb, dark cherry. Wet Forrest, a little gamey-ness and minerality.

Body: dry. Gamey, soy, meaty, fruit had disappeared. A bit peppery. Low acid. I said it had a beef jerky flavor.

November 19, 2020 - All you can expect from a good Chateauneuf. Even better the day after opening. I honestly didn’t expect it to be so good. Perfect timing to drink it, wine was at the peak of its maturity

December 12, 2010 - Blackberries, plum, cured meat and herbs. Powerful, full-bodied, long and well-textured. Usually, the Domaine makes three different cuveés of their CndP grapes. However, this year, due to difficult weather conditions, all the grapes went into the “basic” bottling. Thus, this one contains the noble grapes usually intended for their prestige cuvées.

August 16, 2010 - Tasted on their premises. WAY too much mineral right now from all of that stony and sandy soil....fruit is completely buried. Too early.
