April 24, 2023 - Drank next to a very youthful 2009 La Mouline. Even better than last time. Outrageously complex nose, constantly changing - grilled herbs, spices, wood smoke, meat, bacon, dark flowers, dark fruit, red fruit, crushed stones. On the palate still quite firm, but definitely approachable, great acidity, powerful, dense, but still elegant and well-balanced. Super persistent and intense finish. 97-99

November 14, 2022 - Very dark in colour, hardly any signs of discolouration. Bacon, woodsmoke, meat, charcoal, dark fruit and flowers on the nose - very intriguing and attractive. On the palate dense with lots of fruit but also lots of structure, great acidity, quite mineral and very very long. Very well balanced, complete and approachable, but still a wee bit young. 95-96+

January 28, 2022 - Mmmm, c'est bien mais je m'attendais à bien mieux. Probablement trop jeune.
Deux heures après la mise en carafe il se tenait beaucoup mieux et s'était délesté de cette acidité qui m'avait un peu dérangé.
Je conseille de prendre patience et d'attendre au moins 2024 pour l'ouvrir, sinon, mettez le en carafe TROIS HEURES avant de le boire.1 person found this helpful Comment -

January 21, 2022 - After 2 hours decanting.
Deep purple-red color.
Red-dark fruits, black olive, violet, smoky.
Perfectly connected from nose to palette.
Great acidity, smooth tannin, full-bodied, proper residual sugar. All of these feelings come together.
Best with grilled lamb chops. -
