May 27, 2020 - Just a hint of sweetness (11.0% stated alcohol) to go with floral peach fruit. Medium-weight body, firm but not hard. Tastes like Schloß Johannisberg. Cellared since original release. This wine sold as Kabinett (without "feinherb") in some markets. APN 012-09.

November 30, 2012 - The wine offered lemon, red apple, some peach, a mineral touch and first signs of bottle age on the nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed lemon, red apple, peach and first signs of bottle age, paired with a touch of residual sugar, high acidity and very good length. Solid, but a little dull. Paired reasonably well with Curry.

February 16, 2012 - A bit too sweet, but nice complexity with gamma of tropical fruits

February 25, 2011 - The wine developed nicely over the last year. It was less citrus-driven and a little leaner than a year ago, with spices and honey on the nose, and honey, peach, white currant and some minerality on the palate. The finish was slightly sour at first, but improved with air. The wine paired well with Asian food and drank pretty well (my girlfriend and I finished the bottle in no time), but I feel that the wine might continue to develop nicely and turn into a nice aged Riesling in a few years time.

May 8, 2010 - I loved the 04 version of this wine so I stocked up on 07 and 08. This was the first bottle we tried of the 08. We got lots of lemon, and hints of peach and honey on the nose. On the palate the wine started of lively, with lemon on the initial attack, lots of lemon on the mid-palate, and peach and honey on the very end. The mouth-feel was almost creamy. The wine was very lemon-driven. It did not have the depth of prior vintages like 04, but I liked it nevertheless. It should further improve with another year or two in the cellar.
