February 3, 2024 - Not as good as I hoped, but maybe unfair expectations. Good balance and elegant. Has evolved into the first part of tertiary phase but still has a way to go. Probably lacked the fruit element I was hoping for. Still a great “bargain” relative to most burgundy

July 16, 2023 - Opened for an hour, then consumed with pork and duck. Delicious, elegant, perfect balance.

    December 21, 2022 - Tasted over 2 hrs
-med dark red ruby core mild clearing
    -ripe cherry whiff of oak
-med+ acidity, med/med- weight but rather expansive and full mouthfeel with earthy tart black cherry, finishes with a bitter note some oak perfume and mildly dried out tannins
-OK but a bit disjointed at the moment

November 17, 2022 - Medium ruby red with a 2mm clear edge. PNP, drank a glass over 90 minutes. Boy there's a lot going on here. There is so much earth that is really hitting the upper olfactory register, sultry, dried sandalwood, rose petals, mushroom, tart cherry. The palate is spot on and quite finessed; crunchy red cherry, tart strawberry, iron, earth and mineral notes on a long finish. Tannins are round and complimentary. Sorry to say this was a solo bottle for me. Should drink well for 15 plus years.

November 17, 2022 - Back at the Kenwood with Luis and the team: Lots of matchstick and a deep palate with a long finish. Raspberry, leather, earth and smoke.
