  May 25, 2019 - Color: Pretty garnet with slightly bricking rim.
  
  Nose: Complex nose of baked cherry pie, vanilla, blackberries and a touch of earth.
  
  Palate: Sweet, juicy and fruity. Great length and balance with perfect acidity. Bright, zesty red fruit flavors.
  
  This is drinking really well with no signs of decline. No hurry to drink but I don't see a reason to wait. A great effort by Ridge.

Woody tannin on the palate with what fruit was there being red and not too candied. Muted aromas ranged from stemmy/brambly to sweaty. Even for the net <20 i paid per bottle, i wouldn't be a buyer from the same source.

  October 19, 1996 - BRICK RED COLOR WITH PINK ON THE EDGE. DEEP BERRY FRUIT IN THE NOSE WITH DRIED FRUITS, FIGS, AND DATES. FLAVOR MATCHED THE NOSE. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.
