November 9, 2015 - Closed for a good two hours. With air it really opened up considerably and the strongly tannic profile became quite balanced vis a vis the fruit. Perhaps because I've been drinking some nebbiolo recently, I was reminded of the bright cherry, very dry palate of that variety.
