January 1, 2024 - -Light in color and body
-Plenty of tart, juicy red fruit
    -some mineral soil
This is a tasty, delicious, food friendly wine, I highly recommend.

June 28, 2023 - I’ve had better Bize and I’ve had better 2008s, but this was enjoyed with filet mignon. Pretty florals on the nose. The palate has a surprising thinness, but there is sweet fruit and earth with a lingering finish. I’ll call it surprising but not disappointing.

May 1, 2021 - Bize's Fournaux is a sentimental favorite with me - a 90's bottle was my first good experience with red Burgundy and got me started down the slippery, expensive slope of Burgundy love.

In contrast to French16's April notes, this bottle was closed, though not shuttered - a 24-hour airing brought out the beginnings of the silky texture and fine tannins I associate with this wine, with a bit of cherry juice discreetly integrated. Very fine, but I'd opt to err on the side of caution and keep my bottles for several more years before diving in, if I had more than one left.

May 1, 2021 - A little off. Still this incredible floral notes but the palate seemed very diluted and watery compared to the previous bottles.

April 18, 2021 - Just as good as the previous bottle. More blood orange notes maybe.
    So good.
