March 2, 2019 - Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind New World Pinot Noir (Chevalier Fine Wines - Chicago IL): Double blind in New World Pinot Noir tasting. Once past some reduction, plenty of good red and black cherry aromas and flavors emerge with savory spice and hints of spring flowers. Good weight and good+ length. Drinking well now.

October 15, 2018 - Delicious with salmon baked in parchment pouch. Pnp. Loads of Cherry fruit, some earthiness, beautiful balance. This wine is at or near peak. I will drink my last bottle within two years.

August 16, 2017 - My first of these and simply a beautiful bottle of Pinot drank with fresh grilled Silver Salmon. Generous earthy fruit with impeccable balance.
I would say this wine is in prime time now and for the next 3-5 years.

August 5, 2017 - Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind (Chicago, IL): Tasted double blind, Easily identified as Cali Pinot, then even got SLH (from multiple choice options). Red cherry with some cherry cola and sweet spice. Good textures and structure kept this youthful and interesting.

(Lucia Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard) Medium dark cherry red color; lovely framboise, ripe cherry nose; tasty, balanced, tart cherry, framboise, Asian spice, raspberry compote flavors that flow across the palate in a stately way; medium-plus finish
