December 24, 2011 - This was highly expressive on the nose with honeysuckle, pear, and white flowers. In the mouth, there was excellent mid-palate depth with solid fruit and moderate acidity. Overall, this was an excellent expression of an underappreciated grape, and it pairs beautifully with asian cuisine.

October 29, 2011 - Lite gold with medium-heavy viscosity in the glass. Tropical fruit, almond, flowers and peach cobbler on the nose. Secondary stone fruit, tangerine peel and vanilla. Medium-full body with stone fruit, citrus and butterscotch on the palate. Secondary tropical fruit and vanilla. Not as big or indulgent as the '08, but definitely more of a food wine…was amazing paired with artichoke soup.
