Community Tasting Notes 4

December 28, 2012 - Interesting nose, slightly baked, porty, spicy with similar ripe favors. Thick, ripe, sweet from residual sugar and low acid. Not a great food accompaniment but I enjoyed drinking it nonetheless. Overall, different, ripe, not really a table wine. Not sure how to score this but I would rate it much higher than the current community average indicates.

February 13, 2011 - Not a big fan of this wine. Not much flavour, fruit or otherwise. Tannic, somewhat thin.

February 6, 2010 - A nice light, young red wine. Not a great nose...vinegar and unripened berries. Taste was slightly raisiny with a bit of a pucker to it. In my opinion, not the greatest bang for your buck, but not a disappointment by any means.
