November 3, 2017 - Worth the wait as this has come together nicely. In a very nice drinking window. Well balanced.

December 13, 2015 - When I bought this 4-5 years ago it was the tightest wine that I remember tasting. It was good to leave it on the shelf for a while. Still fairly tannic after uncorking, but loosened up and, now, delicious. However, a bit empty on the back end. Nice to see it turn around.

April 14, 2014 - APPEARANCE: Nice, clean, medium red in color. Watery around the edges
AROMA: Topsoil and violets are abundant on the nose, hints of white pepper
TASTE: Raisins with mild tannins. Subtle flavors of cherry, tobacco, vanilla, and oak. Could maybe last another 2-3 years with proper cellaring

August 19, 2012 - Cellar tracker reviews have been quite harsh on this wine. I found this to be an enjoyable dinner wine. Wine has nose of blueberries leather cedar and tobacco. It took a while for these fragrances to show. Fruit flavors are abundant. The wine is a bit hot at the end. But generally this is a balanced wine with subtle structure.

(Columbia Winery Peninsula Red Wine Red Willow Vineyard) An aromatic wine with abundant licorice, cherry, dark chocolate, cola, and medicine cabinet notes. Palate is soft and full of fruit that draws out across the palate. A silky mouthfeel with well-integrated but still firm tannins. A very pretty, understated wine. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 6% Malbec, and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged 20 months in French oak. 14.1% alcohol. 298 cases produced.
