December 23, 2015 - 2001 Trefethen Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve: Retail $80. Initially waaaay too cold but reserved all the way through with black berry fruit sneaking its way in. After warming this is still full-on old world in style but well balanced and falls just short of gangbusters. Honestly, I was hoping for more but this was excellent. thedrunkencyclist.com

May 22, 2015 - Nice smooth, light fruit, light tannis. Late

October 20, 2013 - Trefethen was one of the first wine clubs I ever joined and it holds a special place in my heart. That is why I chose this to take to one of our favorite BYOBs for our anniversary dinner. Great nose of raspberry and mocha--great color and a fantastic food wine. Did not pop this too early, as the tannins are integrated. And all this crap does not matter since my wife loved it--and in the end, that is all that matters since I won a bunch of points. Outstanding. thedrunkencyclist.com

August 17, 2013 - Delicious. Very smooth yet still complex. Time to drink this one, very enjoyable.

(TREFETHEN RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON) #2; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-really nice black fruit, blackberry, blueberry pie, really nice, little tight, not explosive; TASTE-nice wine, good complexity & structure, but finish is green, bitter & acidic; mid-palate is a little flabby; CG-92; GV-89
