    November 18, 2020 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -opaque purple no bricking
-rich ripe dark pinot fruit barrel spice
-med acidity, med/med+ weight plush dark fruit spice cake with a buried umami element faintly medicinal, med tannins and a bit of wood spice on the moderately long finish
-layered complexity, on the ripe end of the spectrum but not over the top, still going strong and might even have some additional upside

October 30, 2020 - Evolved nicely over 4 hours. Last one in the next few years sounds good.

September 13, 2020 - [Tasted Blind] This pours notably dark in color, though still just barely transparent which is a sign of what's to come. This shows quite a lot of black fruit: blackberry, cassis, toasted wood, and eucalyptus. The palate features elevated oak derived tannin, with medium acid, giving this quite a drying sensation. To me this speaks to what I don't like in Oregon Pinot. It misses the red fruit, purity, and elegance of great Pinot Noir.

April 6, 2020 - 13.6%. Purchased at a K&L auction in 2015. Stored temperature controlled since delivery in 2018. Medium dark red core, translucent ruby rim. This note is from second day tasting. Densely fragrant, note of guava jam. Fine grained yet still grippy tannins, acid in perfect balance. 15 sec finish. This bottle in beginning of an ideal drinking window now.

(Rhys Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard) Dark cherry red color; forest floor, fine oak, woody nose; tight, tart cherry, sous bois, mineral palate with a touch of smoke and firm tannins, needs 5-7 years; medium-plus finish
