  October 11, 2023 - Very nice classic NSG drinking in its prime right now.
  Hue appropriate for its age.
  Nice nice with iron, earthy and spicy elements, some fruit remains.
  The texture is great with just a little of the ripe tannins apparent.
  long clean finish
  Will continue to drink well but probably at its peak now.

  November 14, 2021 - Second Sunday Group: 1990 Burgundies (Neil's): Double blind. A touch darker than most of the others in the lineup. Aromas of black cherry and perfume with a subtle sour cherry element at the back end. Flavors of sour black cherry and forest floor with a long finish. Becomes less sour and more ripe/sweet as it sits in the glass. Bright, nicely ripe cherry fruit and sous bois.

  September 6, 2019 - Initially somewhat closed. Two hours of air and it opened up. A bit coarse, a bit dry, but a really powerful mouthful of blunt as opposed to elegant red burgundy with a bit actually of succulence. Patience rewarded. If well stored, many years ahead. Exceptional length.
