Community Tasting Notes 2

August 22, 2011 - This is a very nice example of sauvignon blanc. Lemon drop nose with a lemon and chalk dominated palate with hints of granny smith , some light herbal notes (basil?), lots of chalk/earth on the finish. This fills the mouth nicely, with lots of acidity. A bit austere and nervy on day one, showing more of a rounded side with more fruit on day 2. Very good! Awesome QPR at K&L for $11. Will pick up more.

March 1, 2010 - Headrick/European Cellars Portfolio Tasting (Boston): Bright and with nervy acidity. Maybe a little lean. But this is yummy. 90+
