March 23, 2010 - Not sure what to do with the nose on this Pinot - my first reaction was that I had just opened the kitchen cabinet that holds the cleaning supplies - bleachy, citrusy detergent, even burned my nose a bit. But, on the palate, this wine is completely different. Rich, creamy cherry soda, strawberry, floral and vanilla spice. Not my favorite Pinot, but quite nice, once you get past the nose...like a stinky foot cheese that melts in your mouth when you taste it.
