June 15, 2014 - Picked up recently and found it to be in pristine condition. With some air, the nose was full of leather, truffle, nuts, dark red fruit and earth. On the palate, beautiful dark raspberry, leather, almond, and plum flavors. Very long and fully integrated tannins.

January 26, 2006 - Complex aromas opening up beautifully, deep ripe and warm, truffle and sous-bois, earthy, mushrooms, rosehip, perfectly fresh, completely integrated; balanced, medium-weight, juicy, satiny, slightly delicate acidity, subtle; lovely length, nutty. Noble and well-hung.
