  July 8, 2012 - This has always been a good Merlot. This has nice fruit and a bit of oak on the nose and in the tast. Well made and quite drinkable

  June 3, 2011 - More complex than I imagined for the money. The nose was oaky with a hint of raspberry. It smelled better than it tasted because for me the finish was a bit bitter. Smooth texture and with a medium/medium light body.

  May 20, 2011 - Heavier on barrel notes and a bit less fruit coming through than I recall with the 07 but still over-delivers for $7. Simple red fruit, a hint of chocolate, and prominent moderate spice- let's go with nutmeg and anise. Only a little tannin.
