February 18, 2023 - Brought to drink during service, open 18.20, tasted 20.30, no decant
Very fragrant, floral notes, fresh ripe black fruits, gamey but not overly so, blue fruits, mineral, spicy, cinnamon candy, decadent
Palate showing its pedigree, high intensity, tight tannins, medium body, purity of fruit, fine oak frame, old school, raspberry, sour cherry, medium to long finish. Elegant with a nice life ahead -

January 31, 2020 - Blood red; dusty note initially, red fruits to fore, tar, smoky; substantial, plenty of depth, there’s fruit aplenty, savoury; classic (tannic) ruggedness on extended finish. This may well hold 10+ years, but drinking well currently.

December 25, 2017 - Pepper, plums, dark fruit, and mushrooms on the nose. Strong but integrated tannins with dried plums and red fruit on the palate. Good finish.

October 11, 2014 - Robe rubis tirant vers le grenat. Nez envoûtant de fruit noir et de cuir. Belle fraîcheur, acidité moyenne +, alcool moyen, tannins au grain très fin, beaux arômes de fruits noirs, myrtille, cerise noire, encore assez frais, ce vin bien équilibré a encore du potentiel et sa finale est plaisante et longue.
