November 28, 2022 - Mushroom, dried raspberry, macerated strawberry, savory thyme, ripe acids. Perfect with prime rib roast.

September 17, 2022 - honestly 91-92 pts... funny enough (given the other notes) this wine was fresh and almost bold (I like my pinot a little more subtle, which aged Calera often delivers), immediately on trying (after 3 hour decant) looked to the ABV and sure enough it was 14% (😞)... fruit was full-minus and there wasn't a lot of age / secondary elements to balance... perhaps this still needed another 5-10 years?... interesting and didn't have the Calera hallmarks I am used to, on the other hand, probably generally a crowd pleaser, even if a little boring for me

June 19, 2018 - Been nursing over the last week. Purchased through WineBid a couple weeks ago. Another case study that purchasing during warm weather may could have compromised the bottle. While it was enjoyed, it was not exciting. The flavors were one dimensional and never offered up any special notes.

January 28, 2013 - The last of my six bottles, I had somewhat low expectations for this wine, as my last 1999 Jensen had turned pruney and not enjoyable. I thought this one too might be over the hill. I was wrong as the Selleck was mature but still fresh, mouth puckering tannins, but ready to drink. Great floral nose, crushed berries on the palate. Would love to have more of this.
