  February 9, 2012 - After operating on adrenaline for the last couple of weeks getting prepared for a trial, the Court decided it was not quite ready to conduct a trial, and continued the matter. To deal with the inevitable adrenaline crash after two weeks of intense preparation, I popped and poured this small little release from one of my favorite small producers, Hudson Vineyards. The Hudson Syrah is one of my favorite wines. This is a lesser wine, but still quite enjoyable. We ordered take-out from our neighborhood Italian restaurant -- thanks Joey -- and proceeded to enjoy the pasta and Pick Up Sticks. This is not a great wine, but not bad for a wine for a Thursday night where my recovery from the adrenaline hangover needed something to ease the cold-turkey absence of adrenaline on the way back down to a normal pace.
