Community Tasting Notes 1

April 1, 2010 - 95% Viognier, 5% Roussanne, 13% ABV. Light straw color in the glass. A crisp and light nose with notes of citrus, apricot, almonds, and minerality. Crisp yet smooth in the mouth, this wine is medium-bodied, dry but fruity, displaying a balanced acidity. There are bitter and tangy flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and green apple. Overall the wine is lacking complexity and the finish is a little short.
