November 24, 2012 - Black fruit with menthol and mint on the nose. Palate had dark fruit and the minty note appearing but the fruit is fading giving more to the alcohol.

September 1, 2011 - Lighter than the name would suggest - this was drinking well, quite nicely mature but with nice sweet fruit. Blackberry and blackcherry - good pure fruited WA red.

February 21, 2010 - Slightly floral with cassis and cherries on the nose. The palate was hot with alcohol, eucalyptus and sour cherries. I still have 5 bottles left and wish I had drank them awhile ago because this is not getting better.
