April 14, 2013 - Sweet, candied, hot mess. The alcohol was very noticeable on both nose and palate. Unfortunately, nothing positive to say about this bottle.
Have always enjoyed McCrea's Syrahs so was surprised at how much I did not like this and how it tasted nothing like Grenache. -

October 26, 2012 - Really delicious. Been drinking a lot of big cabs lately, so this was a lovely change of pace. A lighter, easy drinking wine. The most striking note to me is still the long, earthy finish after the bright red fruit on the early palate. The perfect wine to sit drinking by the fireplace tonight.
