Community Tasting Notes 2

April 5, 2010 - Medium density black-red, lovely rosemary, euclyptus and liquorice aromas - quite heavy and powerful on the whole. Cocoanut character, but quality stuff and within balance. Palate was genuinely green, but upright acid, adequate length and of a certain alcoholic kick. Tannins were there, flavoursome, and well distributed over the mouth, cannot say they will still be structuring this wine in another 3 years however. Really quite fair. A pleasant old-school bordelaise suprise.

February 19, 2010 - Easy drinking claret, almost nothing on the nose on opening but opened after an hour or so though still not overly aromatic. Medium weight, red fruits, light tannin, well made but not complex.
