November 11, 2021 - Great. apple blossoms, nice white orchard fruits, a touch of waxy earthiness beneath. Nice weight enhanced by the bit of sweetness. In great balance today.

January 18, 2021 - Popped and poured. After about twenty minutes the nose comes out to play showing lovely notes of apricot, honeysuckle, and cinnamon. The wine is fully mature, medium to full bodied, nicely balanced, waxy- with that slightly oxidized style you sometimes see in Chenin but retaining compelling orchard fruit flavors. This will hold at this level for another five years at least but it is definitely at peak now.
