January 23, 2011 - This is a very nice SB on the lemon curd end of the spectrum. The wine really needs 30 minutes in a decanter to open up. Once open, the finish is remarkably long and pleasurable.

November 13, 2010 - Rhone Varietal Tasting (Our House (2033 Brandywine St., Philadelphia)): Definitely enjoyed this a bit better than the previous bottle, which I tasted at the winery. Seems to have settled down a bit. Grass, citrus and honey on the nose. The acidity was nice and crisp. Short crisp finish.

November 13, 2010 - Syrahs and other Rhone varietals (Roberts House): really enjoyed this. nice refreshing acidity is the foundation of this wine, as it should be. grass, lemon, and pineapple juice are the primary flavors. short crisp finish.

August 3, 2010 - California Wine Tasting Adventure; 8/2/2010-8/6/2010 (Napa, Sonoma): Tasted at winery. A delicious Sauvignon Blanc. A little too fruity for my particular taste, as I like my SB to be a bit more "rustic." This has a good amount of tropical fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and lemon. Nice mid-palate weight for a SB, as there is a touch of vanilla. The acidity keeps this all well balanced. Enjoyable summer wine.
