July 18, 2020 - Beautiful, deep, rich, right in the middle of its drinking window. Excellent representative of Right Bank Bordeaux.

December 11, 2014 - A special cuvee from Chateau La Croix Taillefer. At this stage, it seems more like a young modern St. Emilion wine than a Pomerol. Matured in oak for 36 months, it needs a little time to shed some of the oak elements. Lots of red fruit, cocoa, cedar, vanilla, and minerality. Full-bodied and opulent. Firm tannins that need softening. 45 second finish. Improved considerably on day #2. Expect this could improve to 93+ once it matures a bit and the oak fades into the background. Don't open this until 2020.
