April 13, 2011 - Light pink salmon. Earthy, dusty strawberry, raspberry, and cherry notes. Dry, somewhat lively and curt, but good balance. Subtle hints of mineral and spice. Picks up bitter cucumber on the finish.

March 25, 2011 - Light pink. Very floral & perfumed on the nose. Light entry of slightly watery red raspberry & watermelon flavors with just a dash of tart strawberry. Get it cold & quaff.

January 7, 2011 - Wow, corkPuller really nailed this one with cucumber, (light) plum, and berry. My mother liked this wine and she's only a step beyond white zinfandel. Light nose. Smooth in the mouth with delightful fruit (citrus, plum, and berry), a light dusting of spice, bits of ripe cheese, some water veggie i.e. cucumber. As before subtle and balanced in the mouth. Finishes quite like the mid-palate and fades gracefully into a gentle alcoholic warm and bitter hum. Missing a bit of the wet steel acid I like, but I still like this and this would be a crowd pleaser for wine newbies. 70% syrah, 30% grenache. 13% abv. Dryish, perhaps slightly sweeter. Body medium, acid medium or lower. Very good QPR as tested, USD9.

September 19, 2010 - Plesant nose - cherry cotton candy - but just nothing going for it on th palate. Dry and bitter with a tacky mouthfeel.

August 18, 2010 - Lovely wine. Light, with a pleasant bit of strawberry on the nose. Lovely salmon color. Certainly not a deep, complex wine, but as a summer sipper while making dinner, it works quite well.
