May 19, 2015 - A private dinner (Restaurant De Echoput, Hoog Soeren, Netherlands): Fresh, slightly lactic, the customary Nahe fruit salad, elegant, subtle smoky honey, hint of Eiswein-apple, fleshy fruit, subtle bitters, not big or sweet by BA-standards but has real drive, elegance, line and length.

May 22, 2009 - German wine tasting (Martins office): Amber golden color. Fantastic nose with aromas of apricot, figs, dates, banana, scorched wood, rubber, petrol and wet stones. On the palate it is extremely fat and layered, stunning intensity in the exotic fruits, dried bananas, oranges, apricots, figs and dates. Out of this world concentration, but the most unbelievable lightness and crispness. Clean and pure flavors, perfume and flowers fields, crazy acidity, which surprises in this complex and extreme syrup-like dessert wine. So much power, but at the same time elegance without comparison.
