December 25, 2010 - A gift we drank on Christmas day. Wife liked this a lot. Fruity. I would rate this a good value table wine.

May 30, 2010 - The label actually calls this a shiraz. For a whooping $3.99 in Monterey, at a Whole Foods no less. Dark inky purple. Smell is not good, even after 2+ hrs breathing, it's heavy vegetable compost, with a minor sweet berry component. The first sniff scared me to the point that I didn't want to try it and was honestly scared. The low price had me considering dumping it sight unseen. But I persevered and found a thick, green under ripe wine that was not nauseating but not good either. The mouth feel is thick and the finish is long, more of a discipline kind of thing though. Would make a decent sangria, but is tiring on it's on.
