  March 28, 2012 - Blood orange translucent red. Strawberry, pepper, earth and mint nose. Medium bodied, dirty raspberries, tart cherries, tons of spices, smoke, soft woody tannins, good acid, Dr. Pepper, and a hot medium to long finish. This grenache has a lot of charactor.

  October 15, 2011 - Wasn't what I expected because I thought I'd brought the Zin, but once we realized it was a Grenache, it was appreciated as such at the table.

  January 31, 2011 - The lighter side of Grenache. The appearance is akin to a Pinot Noir but the bouquet is all Grenache. Never picks up much. Remains thin throughout finishing with sour notes.

  January 14, 2011 - What a pleasant surprise! Roadhouse has bottled a lovely rendition of this varietal that serves up a dose of black cherries, raspberries and even a hint of strawberry on the nose. The flavors continue with the berry theme, but slowly evolves into a profound earthiness that just makes this wine rock! It's incredibly rewarding to come across a wine that drinks this beautifully. The only negative I can think of is that I don't have more of this one stashed away.
