December 15, 2017 - elegant and with a very fine and precise note. It is really a delight and not so often a wine develops so finely.
It goes without saying that the structure is completely in balance and the acidity is really nice and balancing against the not so sweet auslese.

February 28, 2015 - A Matter of Taste: London Edition (Saatchi Gallery, Chelsea): Egon Mullers really do age beautifully. This was singing from the glass with a freshness and vibrancy that was remarkable. The length went on and on.

February 28, 2015 - A Matter of Taste: London Edition (Saatchi Gallery, Chelsea): A truly ‘wow’ wine, transparent chiffon in appearance, with an absolutely unadulterated and evocative nose of sweet saline, pear and crushed rock; an effortlessly assertive wine on the palate, with a clean mouthfeel featuring gooseberry, light citrus, pear and loads of minerality; very clean and vibrant; modest viscosity and a 45-second finish.

February 28, 2015 - Loveley richness, honeyed fruit on the nose, floral. On the palate round, fresh, sweet, not incredibly intense or persistent. Very nice though, great balance and length. 91-93

    March 20, 2008 - Not a 100% sure. Corked? Certainly not a 100% fresh.
