July 19, 2023 - Lots of vibrant red fruits, a little spicy, beautiful colour, pure and yet simple. Drinking very nicely now!

May 17, 2021 - This bottle showed really well. PnP then tasted over a couple days out of 4oz Boston rounds.

Dense coloration, with a little pencil on the nose. A little coiled at first, time in the glass unwinds a wine with some fine grained wood tannins still hanging around. Full bodied with dark fruits, and certainly some anise. Nice balance of acidity. This has held up very well

    85% Merlot 15% Cab Sauv

May 15, 2021 - Served blind. I thought this was Pauillac at first, with cedar spice and tobacco notes (pichon baron) but after 30mins or so was more plump(and once I knew there was merlot) with the oak notes integrating. Still showed rather remarkable depth, darker fruited but lovely Spicy toaccco aromatics. Seemed to be at peak to me.

May 9, 2021 - Takes a couple hours to open, this wine will go through some changes until it settles into a good place. The nose is oaky, smoky, and hint of vanilla. After 2 hours the palate is dark with cola and a dark cranberry finish. There's a decent amount of acid and some tannins in the finish. Not bad but we'll see how it is later.
Oaky, it still has a lot of life in it and gets better with a 4 hour decant. The nose is light incense with dark cranberry, cola, and chewy tannins, but it's in a place where I feel the window is closing so drink now and decant, decant, decant!
Shout out to DJ below. If I ever get back to Ireland, we'll meet in Cork so we can un-cork LOL.

May 3, 2021 - From memory, it is a delightful wine drinking at its best. Some decanting is recommended.
