January 7, 2018 - Opened after a 2005 Legacy over a classic roast prime rib dinner (yes, there was Yorkshire Pudding - gluten free made with arrowroot flour. Really delicious. I digress.). Definitely in the New World camp vs. the '05 which was more elegant and matured. This had body and depth with some tannic energy still trying to dominate. Beautiful dark red and blue fruit. Some mint, leather and tobacco. A delight. I'll be looking for more!

May 14, 2017 - Have a number of 2006 BC wine in my cellar. Most of them are flat and pass it's prime, but this bottle still tasted delicious. But definitely drink now!

December 24, 2016 - Really good. This could cellar a little longer yet, although drinking beautifully now. A short decant wouldn't be a bad idea. 60 minutes or so.

August 3, 2016 - Definitely the best Canadian - BC - wine I have had. A bordeaux blend "digne" of the name, but a bit on the vanilla (merlot, oak) side. Overall well integrated after ten years, with soft tannins, although somewhat less complex than, say, an equivalent St. Emilion. Very nice though.
