Community Tasting Notes 2

January 29, 2011 - First smell, was that of a wine that is ready to drink. Taste was perfectly ripe blackberries, a bit of coffee, and a little bit of oak in the bottom of the glass. Each sip was truly a pleasure, something to enjoy every bit of the way. A nice bright ruby color, I am truly looking forward to the next couple bottles of this wine.

I wish I had tried more 90+ point wines in my life, as it feels like this is above that, but I don't have the pedigree to rate higher. I hope wine only gets better from here.

April 12, 2010 - Naramata Bench Tasting (Westin Bayshore Hotel): A: Coffee, Veg, Hoisin/Soy

    T: Vanilla, Cherry, Stalky, Caramel

Conclusion: Has those green notes you are going to find in a BC Cab Sauv, and use of oak is noticable
