April 24, 2016 - Drinking very well now. Very nice balance - soft tannins yield to a pop of acidity on the finish that provides nice complexity. Black fruit with a hint of dill and bay leaf on the pallet. Not a drop of the sour notes mentioned in previous descriptions.

January 22, 2014 - when I saw earlier comment with an 84 rating I got a bit scared and tasted it. Unfortunately I agree. It is "good" but a bit sour that at times showed promise over a 2 hour period. The decant/air time helped. All I could think of was sour/pie cherry. Perhaps this needs more aging time?
