April 19, 2014 - Nose had promise of dark coffee/caramelized fruits, sappy trees and meaty stony herbal hues. But somehow through the palate and mouth things seemed too brittle, alcohol-y and hinting at being turned. Maybe just that it is an all out black as night paste-like wine, but in my mind, it never fully succeeded.

April 19, 2010 - Very nice palate, red fruit, mild tannins. Good weight. Little nose. At $38, pushing its value already, with shipping et al making it $45, overpriced.
