March 2, 2010 - Popped & poured with no decant. The wine looks Garnet in color, posessing a nose of Strawberry and Red Currant. With a bit of a spicebox cinammon flavor profile, this medium to full bodied wine has resolved tannins and a bit of brett. The acids still dominate, and lead to a long finish. One would suspect this wine should be past it's prime but I believe it's just coming into it's own. There's room to improve and plenty of life left. The real issue is the brett- somtimes I'm in the mood for it, other times I'm not.....
