August 5, 2022 - Solid Bordeaux, more on the light, but elegant side. Red berries, present tannins and lively acidity. Burgundy like! Really enjoyed this wine at 17dC with beef.

March 30, 2022 - Dieser Wein ist in einer schönen Ballance. Griffig, fruchtig, klassisch, nicht überextrahiert, nicht zu dünn. Angenehmes Holz, reife Frucht, Pflaume, nicht überreif, nichts stört, sehr guter Speisenbegleiter.

January 4, 2021 - A lovely and elegant bottle of Saint-Estephe that seems very classy for the ripe 2009 vintage. Medium-bodied, dominated by Merlot, fine cherry, plum and cassis fruit, soft tannins, well integrated oak, no over extraction, no artificial concentration, well-balanced alcohol, very juicy and with fine acidity, nothing is overripe, though the fruit may lack a bit of sweetness and is not very generous. Slightly austere on the finish. It shows best with food, but it is also nice without food. I really like it. No sign of age yet. Should drink well another 5-8 years. Good value Bdx. - 90 points
