February 22, 2018 - This has continued to improve with age, and better than the last bottle I drank a few months ago (so probably some bottle variability or else my taste buds were off one of those nights). Still lots of fruit / juice. Dark red in color. Nice acidity. The tannins which used to be a bit rustic and needed a bit of steak, have mellowed. Still would go well with steak, but this is drinking well on its own too. Moderate complexity. Very good value. Wish I knew what this mystery winery really was.

November 24, 2017 - Drinking well. Still lots of fruit / juice. Dark red in color. Nice acidity. Tannins are a bit rustic. New World fruit meets Haut-Medoc tannin. Mild to moderate complexity. Goes well with steak.
