March 14, 2024 - Incredible. This is too good. Everything is in a perfect place, just too good to be described: super fresh, super ripe, super complicated. Genius use of oak. Lasts forever. Wait another 10 years to get ur 100 point experience: just off the charts.
PS: on day 2 the wine is still singing and may be even better than on the first day, which is astonishing, granted that it was just a splash left at the bottom of the bottle. It is an epitome of ripeness, concentration, complexity and freshness.

October 24, 2023 - Massive. Rich and still drinking quite young. Integrated tannins that will contribute to soften. Mouthcoating. Finish goes on forever. Can easily age to 2043.

    June 29, 2023 - Tasted blind.
    2009 Le Pavillion
    100% Syrah
Slightly garnet rim showing a touch of age.
Blue fruit, tomato leaf, cocoa, plum tart, anise, vanilla.
Palate is round and full of powerful, pepper, garrigue, sage, plum, blue fruit, still quite tannic.
    Finish is endless.

Wine of the year for me in 2023... Brilliant!
