December 31, 2023 - Classic mediumdark color showing it’s age. Lovely opulent nose of black current, violets and lavendel. Some sandal wood in the background. Gentle charming Margaux style. Opened 4 hours before dinner. Mature full bodied taste with a fine balance between tannins and fruit. According to the label, to my surprise, the great wineprofile André Lurton was in charge of the vineyards this year! Lovely wine, possibly on it’s peak!

    October 15, 2019 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.

A bit from memory, but this was a very nice bottle. Did not seem to change too much over time. Good balance of fruit and tannins.

    No need to hold.

February 14, 2014 - Intense brick red colour with raspberry tints. Open at least an hour ahead. Nose is fruity with cloves, violet, caramel, leather, peppercorn, and some cedar wood. Smooth entry and tannins develop quickly to give structure. Generous body. Style is elegant, refined and assured. Slightly drying and some bitterness in final palate with lingering dried black fruit. Long finishing of about 10 sec. It goes nicely with roast meat and also great with Soumatrain cheese.

December 28, 2013 - Rik, fruktig, mørke bær, sjokolade, krydret bouquet, god eik. Nydelig vin med god dybde og bra lengde.

    October 28, 2012 - Deep red colour.
One hour decanted, but too cold.
Fresh and cold fruit. Typical Bordeaux flavours. Ok lenght. Still young. Not the best vintages but surprisingly young still. Could be saved even 3-5 years.
